Fulbright Canada and the Palix Foundation, in partnership with the University of Alberta, the University of Calgary, and the University of Lethbridge, are pleased to mark the third year of this extraordinary collaborative program. The program supports leading scholars who are pursuing critical research on topics that can have a positive impact on how we understand and effectively support advancement in brain science and individual and family health and wellness.
The Office of the Vice-President (Research) at the University of Calgary will host a panel discussion and a networking reception on October 3rd from 2-5pm to celebrate the 2017-2018 Fulbright Canada-Palix Foundation Distinguished Visiting Research Chairs in Brain Science, and Child and Family Health and Wellness. The 2017-2018 chair holders are:

The event will involve a panel discussion, allowing each chair to present their research and discuss how their time in Alberta will be spent building partnerships, exploring new directions in their work, and advising the goals of the Alberta Family Wellness Initiative.
The event will also provide an opportunity to provide a brief introduction the new Fulbright Canada - University of Calgary chairs for 2017-2018.
