Ottawa-based Jenika Heim is one of three EducationUSA Advisors in Canada. Operating out of Fulbright Canada headquarters, she is responsible for managing the national EducationUSA file, providing advice, support, and counseling for students who are considering studying in the United States, both as full-time degree seeking students and as exchange students.
The EducationUSA network promotes U.S. higher education by offering accurate, comprehensive, and current information about opportunities to study at accredited post-secondary institutions in the United States. EducationUSA also provides services to the U.S. higher education community to help institutional leaders meet their recruitment and campus internationalization goals
Jenika is a Northern California native. She received a BA from the University of California, Davis in History and Communications with a Minor in Social and Ethnic Relations, and a Master’s degree from San Diego State University in Women’s Studies. Before coming to Fulbright, she spent eight years working with universities and community colleges, with an emphasis on test preparation.
