OTTAWA, February 2025 – Fulbright Canada is pleased to announce the 2026-2027 U.S. Scholars Program launch, inviting outstanding American academics, postdoctoral researchers, and professionals to collaborate with Canadian universities through its prestigious Research Chairs Program. Applications are now open and will close on September 15, 2025.
Over 25 Canadian universities host Fulbright Canada Visiting Research Chairs in various areas, including business, public policy, education, science and technology, food security, public health, and environmental studies. With a focus on impact-driven research, U.S. Scholars have unparalleled opportunities to work closely with Canadian colleagues to address societal challenges, drive innovation, and contribute to advancing knowledge.

Since its inception, the Fulbright Program has facilitated more than 350,000 exchanges worldwide, with Fulbright Canada playing a pivotal role in fostering understanding and meaningful connections between Canada and the United States.
